Client: Dana Obleman's Child Sleep Center
Problem: Dana records a weekly video blog answering questions from mothers about how to help their children sleep better —but even with thousands of monthly visitors, her blog wasn't generating the level of user engagement Dana had hoped it would.
Solution: Foreword moved Dana's blog off its inflexible software platform and onto Wordpress, which offers more opportunities to customize user experience and engage visitors.
With a strategy focused on building an active community, we added prominent "subcribe" links and comment links, along with easy sharing tools so Dana's visitors can share and discuss her videos on social networks like Facebook, StumbleUpon, and Yahoo's MyWeb.
"We have gotten tons of great feedback from visitors since we put up the new blog you did for us," Dana tells us. "And we have noticed a substantial jump in sales too!" With more than 20,000 monthly pageviews, growing sales, and posts that often attract more than 100 comments, Dana's blog is on the fast track to success!

Course (multimedia): The Insider Secrets to
Marketing Your Business on the Internet
Client: The Internet Marketing Center
Problem: Every year, the Internet Marketing Center needs to revise its 1000+ page web marketing guide to cover the latest tools, strategies, and research. There's a big team, a tight deadline, and an entire interweb worth of information to review -- not to mention the multimedia DVDs and bonus books that are included...
Solution: Curtis worked with the in-house team at IMC to manage the course revision from concept to printing. After drafting a project plan, we hired two new writers and a video production expert to ensure that the team could meet deadline, then outsourced design of the course packaging to independent contractors to reduce time requirements for IMC's design staff.
To update content, we arranged to have IMC's team of business mentors review the previous course, identifying new areas for coverage and old material that needed to be updated or replaced. With staff and procedures in place, we rewrote the course, recorded DVD demonstrations by mentors, designed packaging, delivered marketing specifications, and arranged for printing and production of course components.
As the cornerstone of IMC's product suite, The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet remains one of the most reputable marketing courses on the Internet, and continues to generate millions of dollars in sales revenue for IMC. We're proud to have played a part.
